Two Floors studio is a unique shared studio space in the basement of the Belgrave Emporium. Lovingly renovated it has huge amounts of character from the sanded brick walls, to the natural dyed wall hangings, it is a quirky creative paradise.
Two Floors is the creative space where Anne-Maria Plevier (creative working in ceramics, crochet, metal work and wood), Lee Goller (ceramicist) and Sarah Munnings (silversmith and metal worker) are working together with Lucy Beach and Claire Hadley (Textile design, eco dying and other textile art) on a group exhibition on the theme of Wasi Sabi for the Dandenong Ranges Open Studio exhibition.
The studio is available for hire this year for creative workshops. It is a large space, with plenty of tables and chairs and a hard floor – suitable for all messy endeavors. There is an entrance along the rear alley way, toilets within the space, and access to a kitchenette.
Belgrave is a vibrant town which has many coffee shops and cafes where you can enjoy tasty treats. It is also home to the Puffing Billy railway.
